The following photographs were taken by Teg (not a misprint!) Cumberland, Master Stonemason, when he was doing some restoration work on the Church spire some years ago. They show the village from a perspective you are unlikely to experience yourselves, and we trust you find them of interest. Note that Parlington Villas is under construction (which dates these photos nicely) and, similarly, the upgrading of the A1 to a motorway isn’t finished.
